The setting of this book is Ireland in today's times. One mother cannot vaccinate her child because of a medical condition of the child; another mother does not vaccinate her child because of her beliefs regarding vaccinations. Both girls, in the same kindergarten class, come down with measles. One recovers and the other faces serious medical consequences and is in the hospital. This book is all about the choices you make and how they can affect others. It is a great book for discussion and would be a good book club read. I recommend this book.
